No waiver by us of any breach of these terms shall constitute a waiver of any other breach. No failure by us to exercise any remedy shall constitute a waiver of the right subsequently to exercise that or any other remedy.

Terms and conditions of sale

These terms and conditions of sale (together with the documents referred to in it) are the terms on which you (you or your) may purchase tickets from Hop On AS (Hop On, we, us, our) through the www.hopon.no website (website).

By purchasing tickets through the website and clicking the box to say you accept these terms, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions of sale, and you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions of sale, you may not purchase tickets from us through the website.

Our Privacy Policy, sets out the terms on which we process your personal data and use of cookies. By using our website, you accept the terms and conditions of our Privacy Policy and consent to our use of your personal data as described. By using our website, you indicate that you accept these general conditions of use.

Ticket sales

All sales are final: tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded by Hop On, unless we do not perform our obligations under these terms with reasonable care and skill or the services do not correspond with the information we have given you about it. Then you have the statutory right to an exchange or a refund.
To verify genuine e-vouchers, the e-mail information needs to show the time and date of delivery when presented. We reserve the right to refuse vouchers that do not show this information.
When You submit an order on the website, you make an offer to enter into an agreement with us to purchase a ticket to travel. We may accept your offer by emailing you a confirmation that your offer has been accepted. When we confirm your order, you enter into a binding agreement with us.
We will fulfil our agreement with you when we send you your voucher for the relevant activity, or a link to download your voucher or ticket.

Online tickets are booked on the understanding that the ticket confirmation we send you is a pre-paid voucher or ticket, which must be redeemed to be valid to travel on arrival at any of the operated named destinations. All e-mail tickets must be possible to be shown in printing or electronically, digitally upon arrival to destination of use.
The ticket to travel is valid for use on Hop On tours and is valid for the booked date or dates.
Please check and confirm the date or dates of travel with us when booking the ticket.

The ticket to travel must be made available for inspection by the driver, representative or any official of or at Hop On on demand.
Family tickets are not issued as individual tickets and therefore groups must stay together at all times with the purchase of a Family Ticket.
Retaining your ticket will entitle you to 15% off at your next Hop On tour ticket.
The 15% discount must be used within 12 months of the date on which the first ticket was purchased.
The 15% loyalty discount given for presenting your tour ticket from a previous Hop On tour from a different destination can only be applied once for each subsequent full priced ticket purchased.
A child is defined as set out in the ticket class at time of purchase. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Prices shown on the website are inclusive all taxes, custom duties, and fees.
The prices remain valid as advertised from time to time, and may be subject to change without notification.
The prices shown on the website do not include any delivery costs, since none such costs will be applied.
The prices fixed for the services will be stated to two decimal places. If a discount, currency adjustment or other price amendment results in a price of three or more decimal places, the price will be rounded up to the next price with two decimals.
Pre-paid vouchers or tickets to travel obtained from an unauthorised source, stolen, copied illegally or counterfeit will be seized and cancelled without compensation.

Refunds

You do not have the right to cancel an order or ask for an exchange or refund once your order has been confirmed by us. If a discretionary refund is agreed by Hop On’s management (which will take place only in exceptional circumstances), then the amount refunded will be subject to an administration fee of 15% of the order value and will only be refunded after the expiry date of the tickets purchased.
However, you do have the statutory right to a refund if we have not performed the services with reasonable care and skill, or the services do not correspond with the information we have given you about them. If this is the case, then we will not charge you an administration fee.

Complaints

Should you have any reason to complain, kindly note this needs to be done within 30 days of the date of the tour. Any complaints must be accompanied by your Hop On tour ticket.

Hop On’s liability

Hop On is under a legal duty to supply you with the agreed services with reasonable skill and care. In the event of any failure, alteration, suspension, cancellation or termination of any or all services that is not your fault, we will do our best to provide you with replacement services, or a refund if this is not possible.

Liability for service levels

Hop On is not liable if and insofar as the customer is able to claim for damages under an insurance policy, such as travel and/or holiday cancellation insurance. Hop On shall not be liable for any loss, damage, inconvenience or delay caused to you in relation to these terms, except where such loss or damage results from our failure to provide the services under these terms with reasonable skill and care or where the services do not conform to our description of them. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Credit Card payments

All payment transactions are handled by Hop On. Your credit/debit card and related personal details are collected by Hop On only to process your order. Payment will be taken upon our confirmation of your order.

You agree that you are responsible for all charges incurred by your use of the site, including all bookings. You expressly authorise Hop On to charge the credit card provided by you or listed on your account for any outstanding fees or costs due to Hop On. If the credit/debit card holder for bookings is not you, it will be your responsibility to ensure that you have the card holder’s consent before entering any related details, and that such details when entered are true.

Modifications to the content and product offerings on the website

We reserve the right to make changes or corrections, alter, suspend or discontinue any aspects of the website or the content or the services available through the website without prior notice, without any liability to you. However, any such amendment or withdrawal will not affect orders already placed and we will honour any existing bookings or provide a refund in the event of unavoidable cancellations.

Changes to these terms

Hop On reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time at its sole discretion by posting a change notice to this page.

Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Norwegian law, although regardless of the governing law of this agreement, you will always be entitled to any mandatory legal protections that apply in the country in which you are a resident. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts. However, if you are a consumer (i.e. an individual acting in a non-business capacity), you may alternatively bring a claim to enforce your consumer protection rights in connection with these terms in the courts of the country in which you reside.
