At the top of Ålesund’s town mountain, Aksla, you can enjoy an incredibly beautiful view overlooking islands, the town center, and the Sunnmøre Alps. Feel free to explore the numerous paths leading to several recreational areas like Dammene (with a fitness park), Rundskue viewpoint, and the lean-to shelter in the forest, among others. You can also walk down towards the fjord and take the path Borgernes vei back to the town center.
At the top you also find Restaurant Fjellstua.
