The main exhibition features founder Rune Arnhoff’s private collection of more than 4,500 Bibles, including Norwegian, Nordic and international editions. Among the collection’s cultural and historical treasures are a rare edition of Gustav Vasa’s Bible from 1541, an original page from the Gutenberg Bible, a Latin Bible from 1487 and handwritten manuscript pages dating back to around 1250.

The museum also showcases historical artifacts and materials from other collections, creating a unique experience for visitors interested in history, literature, culture and religion.
